At Provider Choice, we believe confident decisions start with clear information. That’s why we keep you up to date on important NDIS changes, so you always know what’s happening and how it affects you.

This includes the release of a new ‘NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits’ starting 24 November 2025. A pricing update is typically released annually and would usually be effective on the date it is released. This year everyone gets earlier notice so we can plan and prepare with confidence.

What’s Changing

  1. Art and Music Therapy pricing
Price limits for Art and Music Therapists have been updated following a national review, to make pricing fairer and more consistent across therapies. Read our blog on Art Therapy updates here.
  2. Clearer rules for ‘Other Professional’ supports
Guidance on how these supports can be claimed has been refined to make things simpler for everyone.
  3. COVID items removed
All temporary COVID-related supports have now been removed, returning pricing to standard arrangements.
  4. Regional pricing updates
The NDIA has refreshed how regional and remote areas are classified to ensure prices match the realities of delivering services across Australia, particularly in regional and remote areas.
  5. SDA pricing adjustments
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) prices have been indexed in line with cost-of-living changes.
  6. Assistive Technology and Home Modifications updates
The guide for Assistive Technology, Home Modifications and Consumables has been refreshed, with updated item descriptions and a few new or modified supports. Read our summary here.

New Therapy Supports Guideline

A new Therapy Supports Guideline has also been released. It explains what therapy supports are, when they can be funded and who can provide them. Read a full breakdown of the guide here.

What It Means for You

If you’re a participant, your current plan won’t change, but your provider may adjust their pricing from 24 November. They will need to contact you first to discuss and agree on any changes to your existing service agreement.

At Provider Choice, we help you stay informed about important NDIS changes so you can keep making confident, empowered decisions about your supports.
