Now I have a plan, how do I use it?

Your NDIS plan shows what you want to achieve in your life and what money is available to pay for supports to help with this.

It's important that you understand what is in your plan, how you can manage the funding and how to find providers.

1) Understanding the plan:

We’ve put together a plan explainer tool to help you know what your plan really means. It makes it easier for you to see what you can buy with your NDIS funding.

2) How to manage the plan:

You can handle the payments yourself, have a plan manager do it for you, or have the government do it directly. If you're ready to sign up for plan management, you can do that here.

3) How to find and use providers:

Whether you need help with daily activities, therapy, specialised equipment, or other supports, knowing about the various types of providers available ensures you can access the right resources to improve your quality of life and reach your goals. To find providers you can:

• Use the NDIS provider search tool
• Contact your NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator (LAC)
• Search online directories
• Contact NDIS customer service on 1800 800 110 or, if you have hearing or speech loss on 1800 555 677
• Ask your family and friends for recommendations
