Personalised Plan Management
When you sign up with Provider Choice, you will be allocated a dedicated plan manager who will help guide you through your NDIS journey. Your plan manager will work closely with you and provide you with NDIS expert advice tailored to your plan. They will ensure that you are making the most of your plan by giving you regular budget updates, processing invoices on your behalf and answering any questions you may have. You will also have access to our easy-to-use technology and free NDIS tools which will make understanding and managing your plan a whole lot easier.
What is NDIS Plan Management?
There are 3 different ways of managing your NDIS funding - you can choose to be self managed, NDIA managed or plan managed.
You can think of a plan manager as your personal NDIS bookkeeper and guide. Plan managers will process invoices on your behalf, pay your service providers, and help you to budget and track your spending.
Whether you are new to the NDIS, or well into your NDIS journey, the scheme can be tricky to navigate. Having a plan manager to guide you on this journey can make your experience a whole lot clearer. Having a plan manager allows you to use registered or unregistered providers meaning you have choice and control over who supports you.
If you already have a provider you love, being plan managed ensures that you can continue to see them. You also get to decide what you buy and what services you need to access.
Although plan managers are not decision-makers, they are responsible for ensuring you spend your funding in accordance with NDIS guidelines, so they can help guide you in the right direction when you are unsure.
The cost of plan management will not impact the rest of your budget. It is an additional bucket of funding added to your NDIS plan.
How provider choice helps NDIs participants in NSW
Provider Choice offers personalised plan management. Having a personalised plan manager means you will have one person who is dedicated to you and your plan. You will always speak to the same person, and you won’t have to repeat your story, nor your situation, each time you call. A personalised plan manager gives you the freedom to choose how you wish to be supported.
You can decide how you would like to be contacted in relation to your budget, if and how you would like to approve invoices, and how you would like to communicate with your plan manager.
Provider Choice has a great online dashboard that gives you access to live funding updates and allows you to download invoices that we have processed on your behalf. You will also have access to a range of free tools including a plan explainer, a plan review tool and a budgeting tool.

Provider Choice will pay all invoices within 3-5 business days.
Track every funding move in real time
The Provider Choice dashboard automatically updates after any invoices are processed. It tracks what you have spent and shows you how much funding you have remaining in each category of your plan.
Easy to use budgeting tools
Our budgeting tool allows you to calculate how much funding can be allocated to each provider you use, and how regularly you can access their supports and services. You can use this tool at any point to make edits to reflect changes in your supports.
Automatic notifications to prevent overspend or underspending
You can choose to receive an email or SMS alert when you have either overspent or underspent funds.
No cost to you
The cost of plan management will not impact the rest of your budget. It is an additional bucket of funding added to your NDIS plan.
