Today, I’m incredibly pleased to welcome Lavender Plan Management to Provider Choice.
Lavender has spent the past seven years building something special: a highly personalised plan management service founded on trusted relationships with participants, families, Support Coordinators and Providers.
Those relationships matter.
From our very first conversations with Ali and the Lavender team, it was clear that protecting what makes Lavender different needed to sit at the heart of what came next.
That’s exactly what we intend to do.
Lavender will remain Lavender
For Lavender participants, families, Support Coordinators and Providers, the most important message is simple: Lavender will continue to operate as Lavender.
The Lavender brand remains. The team remains. Existing relationships, systems and day-to-day service remain in place. There is no need for Lavender participants or partners to change the way they work with the team. What changes is what sits behind Lavender.
As part of Provider Choice, Lavender now has access to additional technology, operational capability and sector experience to help Lavender support even more participants and families navigating the NDIS.

Provider Choice and Lavender have a lot in common.
We are both independent businesses built specifically around plan management. We believe plan management works best when participants have genuine choice, strong service and a team that understands the complexity of the NDIS.
Plan management is all we do at Provider Choice and it has been our sole focus since we started in 2018. We believe scale should strengthen great service, not replace the personal relationships behind it. With Lavender’s exceptional service model, we believe our role is simply to strengthen what sits behind them.

Building for the future of plan management
The NDIS continues to evolve and the way plan management operates will continue to evolve with it.
We believe the strongest plan managers of the future will need to combine great human service with strong technology, governance, compliance and safeguards for participant funding.
Bringing Lavender and Provider Choice together allows us to share that capability while preserving the identity and service model Lavender has spent seven years building. It also reflects a broader belief we hold at Provider Choice that independent plan management has an important role to play in the future of the NDIS.
As the sector changes, we want to help strong independent plan managers remain strong.
