There is nothing better than getting out on the road, leaving the office behind and spending time with the people you work most closely with. June 2026 gave me and the Provider Choice team this opportunity to connect with our client base of Support Coordinators and providers as we all met to discuss the recent May budget announcements and how they will impact participants and all of us working within the NDIS.
Our roadshow started in Sydney, went on to Melbourne and wrapped up in Perth. We were blown away by the attendance and support at the three events and it was clear that everyone was keen to discuss changes to the NDIS, what role support coordination will continue to play and what plan management looks like moving forward.
We're lucky at Provider Choice that our Founder and CEO, Tom Blinksell, is well connected in Canberra and is constantly working on having the latest information, ensuring Provider Choice is not only at the forefront of plan management updates, pricing and policy changes but also that this information is passed on quickly to our Participants, Support Coordinators and Providers. To have Tom available at the three events was a major opportunity for all of us to hear, especially from the Support Coordinator network, their thoughts, concerns and solutions for providing participants with the best service and results possible.

Tom shared with everyone insights from his time spent in Canberra during budget week as well as the recently released details covering supports, support coordination and plan management. Whilst many more details are required before the changes take place in 2027 and 2028, Tom gave his views and thoughts on how he thinks the changes will land and judging by the level of questions and audience participation, everyone was keen to discuss them and have some clarity.
Technology plays a major part in all our lives every day and this is no different within the NDIS. Tom was joined on stage by our Chief Operating Officer, Brad Morris, who provided insights and updates on how Provider Choice is utilising technology to make it easier to connect and provide the latest updates, how Provider Choice is protecting client information, as well as a glimpse into the future with FAM Life.
With the government placing increased emphasis on fraud prevention and reporting, Brad outlined how Provider Choice is updating our dashboard information and interaction for both participants and providers. These updates are supported by the launch of our provider app, ProChoBiz, to make all the information available in real time as well as on the go. Brad also spent time taking everyone through FLOW, our new AI-powered fraud prevention and invoice intelligence tool, to further reinforce our commitment and dedication to safer NDIS payments.
Whilst we all rely on and look to tech, Provider Choice never wants to lose the human touch with our Participants, Support Coordinators and Providers, with our Guru bookings growing every day. We were lucky enough to have our Guru team attend the sessions and many of the guests were delighted to meet the voice on the phone in person. Tom and Brad finished the event by giving everyone a glimpse into the future with FAM Life, the super app for all Australian families. This was a hot topic of conversation and questions as they outlined how FAM can assist and support a simpler and more connected future for families.
A huge thank you to all who attended our events, as we know how hard it is to find time in people's busy schedules. It was great to meet so many who put their trust and faith in Provider Choice, share a drink and some food outside of the office and confirm our shared passion for making the NDIS safe and effective for participants.
