What is an NDIS plan reassessment?

  • Get a new plan with the same supports
  • Get a new plan with minor changes (known as a plan variation)
  • Have a full plan reassessment
An NDIS plan reassessment, also known as a plan review, is your opportunity to think about what is working well with your NDIS plan and supports, what is not, and what support you need in the future.

What do I need to prepare for the plan reassessment?

It's important to be prepared for your NDIS plan reassessment meeting, especially if you want to make sure you get the funding you need to reach your goals.

Here’s a quick list of some of the things you should start to think about ahead of your plan review:
  • Start by thinking about your current life goals and what kind of supports might work best for you
  • Gather any information you have that can show how your current plan has helped you so far, what you might need and if things could change for you soon
  • Try to use NDIS language and terms where you can
  • If you have overspent or underspent in your current plan, try to come prepared with reasons why
