Making Wishes, Goals and Everyday Wins Possible

Making Wishes, Goals and Everyday Wins Possible

At Provider Choice, we spend a lot of time thinking about goals.

Some are big.
Some are small.
Some don’t look like much on the outside but mean everything to the person working towards them.

That’s why the work of Make-A-Wish Australia feels so closely aligned to what we do every day.

Dreams look different for everyone

When people think of Make-A-Wish, they often picture once-in-a-lifetime experiences. A child meeting their hero, a moment that lifts spirits and reminds families what’s possible.

In the NDIS world, goals can sound simpler,  but they carry the same power.

“I want to talk.”
“I want to learn how to cut my own food.”
“I want to feel confident leaving the house.”
“I want to try something new.”

These goals may not be headline-grabbing, yet they’re deeply meaningful.

They give direction, purpose and something to look forward to -  just like a wish.

It takes a team to help a wish take shape

Whether you’re working towards a goal or a wish, progress doesn’t happen alone.

Behind most milestones is a whole ecosystem; family, support workers, therapists, coordinators and the people who quietly show up day after day. That shared effort sits at the heart of Make-A-Wish, the NDIS and the work we do at Provider Choice.

Everyone plays a part in helping someone move closer to what matters most to them.

As the year comes to a close

As the year wraps up, it felt like the right moment to recognise an organisation whose mission reflects what we see across the NDIS every single day.  Make-A-Wish focuses on possibility, joy and progress.

We’re proud to support Make-A-Wish Australia and proud to stand behind our participants as they work towards their own goals and wishes in their own time and their own way.
