Watch Now: The NDIS and other government systems - How they interact

From May 19, some NDIS participants with PACE plans will begin receiving their funding in a new way: Funding Periods.

What’s changing?

Instead of getting their full plan budget upfront, participants will receive their funds in instalments – typically every three months.

This new approach is designed to help people pace their spending and avoid the pressure of managing large sums all at once.

What stays the same?

  • The total plan budget doesn’t change – it’s just spaced out
  • Active Service Agreements are required to release each instalment
  • Not all plans are affected immediately, but more may be in future

How we’re supporting you

The Provider Choice portal has been updated to:

  • Show current available funding
  • Display upcoming instalments
  • Help participants, coordinators, and providers manage budgets with confidence

Whether this affects you now or later, we’re keeping it simple and staying ahead.

That’s the power of Choice.
