# Provider Choice

> Provider Choice is an NDIS plan management provider that operates across Australia. NDIS plan management is a service in which a registered provider handles the financial administration of a participant's National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding: paying invoices from the participant's chosen service providers, tracking spending against the participant's budget categories, and submitting claims to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). Plan management lets a participant choose their own providers (unlike NDIA-managed funding) without having to do the claiming and paperwork themselves (unlike self-managed funding). Plan management is funded by the NDIS separately from a participant's support budget, so using it does not reduce the funding available for the participant's supports.
